DIRECTOR of COMMERCIAL, TRAVEL, & BRANDED FILMS.
I have always been fascinated with communication - first as a writer, then studying photography, then mastering editing, and finally combining it all to be a filmmaker. A digital carpenter with an analog soul, I pride myself on being a prolific shooter, editor and director, since understanding each aspect of the medium ensures a larger vocabulary to speak with.
You’ll find a protean person in me, someone that is in love with the world and all it’s strange wonderful facets. From fit and polished glossy spots, to grit and slag docu-style films, I love to flex all the inherent power film provides. Regardless of the finish, I like to think that all my work has one commonality: authenticity. The goal isn’t just to be different, just something honest that resonates against the cacophony of ordinary out there.
Ultimately I think what defines my unique vision and style of directing comes from my obsession with travel. To me there is nothing more satisfying then submerging in the unknown, and finding the beauty in the commonality of our differences. I pride myself on my empathetic focus, allowing me to combine ideas from even the most challenging situations. I really love what I do, and it rubs off easily.
So, yes, a list of awards that celebrate some key pieces of my work are offered below along with some names you should recognize that will give you an understanding of the caliber and demand of my skill. But if you really want to know who I am and what I do, it’s best to just call because, like any good tool, I long to fit the need at hand. In the meantime, take a peek below at my year in reviews to give you an idea of how I spend my time. Thanks for stoping by.
